Embarrassment of Riches

I sure hope that it has been obvious how blown away Amy and I have been with the generosity of Tim's community. That said, we'd like to request that you slow down a bit with gifts of some types. He has received many food items and Dunkin' Donuts cards (as I have suggested), but we now realize that he can't begin to eat everything he gets and the staff isn't all that interested in helping. Also, we're a little concerned with him eating too much without getting any real excercise. We hope that doesn't sound ungrateful. At this point, I think the most important thing that you can do for Tim is to send him a card or letter, maybe with some local news that you think would be of interest to him. The blog postings and emails to his account are also good, but we've noticed his eyes light up when he gets good ol' US Mail.

As always, we are immensely grateful. Tim was always a role player in sports, but now he's the quarterback and he knows he has a team behind him, helping him get to his goal. Thank you!
