Richmond Experiences Temporary Population Dip

The sad thing is, yesterday really kicked my butt. So, I slept in a bit to try to head off a cold I felt coming on, and I think I was successful. Amy pulled the early shift with Tim and after he went off to his 9AM PT classes, she came back to the apartment to make sure I didn't over-do the sleep. Thanks.

Anyway, by the time we ambled back to the hospital, who did we see arriving, but the catering Baldwins of Richmond, returning from their vacation in Little Compton. As always, we had a nice visit with them, over lunch on the patio (which they brought in from a specialty foods caterer in Providence). Nigel met Tim's therapists, enjoyed the draw bridge and helped Tim by filling his CamelBak. Tessa was just as cute as a button. She's this big (!) now.

Tim, it seems, was also pretty tired as he nodded off for a nap during the visit and then was too tired to attend his OT session. Rachel did let us know that she was excited by the new movement in Tim's left hand.

After Spinal Cord Injury Education Class, we enjoyed another visit from Richmonders. Stefan and Matt were in town to take a look at some colleges and stopped by before heading back. We let Tim have some time alone with them, and that resulted in a real smile fest. Amy and I enjoyed our time with Regina. I took off around 6, and learned that Tim was ready for bed early. Now, I'm back at my kitchen table in front of an open window. Has anyone seen August? Good lord!
