It is written

Communication today was via two phone calls - Amy spoke with Tim around lunchtime and I caught up with him this evening. He's finishing up the week in good form. 42 minutes on the Locomat left him sore and satisfied. Later in the day, Tim took his first spin in a manual chair, which is what we'll be bringing to West Stockbridge next week, if everything works out. However, I was most interested to hear that in OT, he practiced writing. The results weren't too good, but it's another step in the right direction.

When I caught up with Tim, he was hanging with cousin Lily who is back in Beantown. She's an artist studying at Mass College of Art and brought along some of her artwork, as well as some created by her boyfriend Byron. Tim has them hanging in his room already. He also had a visit from Jake - probably the last time they'll see each other for awhile, as he is heading off to college in Colorado on Wednesday. A nice fruit basket from the Luchi's rounded out the day - Tim's sharing it nicely with the staff.

Back here in West Stockbridge, Tyler returned the Audi, ready to go and we'll be driving it out to Boston to practice transfers from the chair to the car. Tim is pretty pumped for Monday morning. We'll keep you posted!

Meanwhile, we hope that everyone will flock to the Zucchini Festival and support all of the folks and businesses who make this such a great day. There's something for everyone. I know that we'll miss dancing to the great music of Bootleg on Center Street while the fireworks go off overhead.
