Tim had an exhausting day today. FES bike and OT focused on transferring himself from chair to bed, which he has pretty much mastered. He also dressed himself, in bed, for the first time. Very tiring, though. Amy was with him this afternoon, at the time when therapies end - but he was too tired to talk or hang, he just wanted to sleep. So, Amy took a walk, came back - still snoozing. She went home, and he awoke later in the evening and they said their good nights via phone.
I just checked in with Tim and he had one other bit of news which I find very encouraging. Kevin, his PT is going to shifting the focus next week -to walking! They'll be phasing out the FES Bike and adding two or three afternoon sessions of standing, as they did last week. As you might guess, Tim is thrilled.
I think that's about it for tonight. Time to prepare for Amy's return to WS and my drive back to Boston!
